Past Scholarship Recipients

The Miss Black USA Pageant is one of the most recognized scholarship programs for African American women in the

United States, and definitely the largest provider of scholarship assistance for African American young women. For more than 25 years the national organization has awarded over 500,000 in scholarships and prizes to hundreds of black women who compete in the state and local competitions.

Participating in the Miss Black California USA and

Miss Black California USA Talented Teen pageants not only helps you pay for college and prepare for a career, but it also provides an opportunity to network, raise awareness about certain health initiatives and gain an awareness of the issues and problems that women and African American women face in today’s society.
